Arabska noč nas popelje v življenje, sanje, misli in fantazije petih prebivalcev stolpnice, v vročo poletno noč v kateri se čarobnost, pravljičnost in fantazije prepletajo z grobo banalnostjo urbanega bivanja. Popelje nas v paranojo blokovsko nebotičniškega življenja, erotičnih hrepenenj, ki prehajajo v odtujenost.

Mark Fisher's final lectures, on the topic of postcapitalist desire, are life-affirming and speculative. Their unfinished nature is tragic but Fisher was not alone in exploring the possible emergence of new worlds beyond our capitalist reality. In this series of conversations, Matt Colquhoun explores how Fisher's concerns are shared by other writers and thinkers at work today.
In our first session, we will be joined by Will Stronge, co-author (with Helen Hester) of the forthcoming book Post-Work, to discuss the necessary steps needed to begin the transition to a post-work society, whilst also probing an issue that Fisher was particularly concerned with -- not just the economic reality of such a transition but the cultural challenges that diminish our capacity to imagine that transition in the first place.
